Detoxification for Reducing Harmful Effects of Toxins

Detoxification: reducing the accumulation and harmful effects of toxic substances.
• Rarely only one, toxins are synergistic and additive
• Affect biochemical and regulation (ANS) functions of the body; chronic
toxicity creates an Autonomic Nervous System disturbance, a Psycho-
Neuro-Immuno- Hormonal dysfunction.
• Detoxification usually includes:
1. heavy metals
2. toxic chemicals
3. toxic bowel
4. chronic infections
5. chronic (unresolved) Psycho-emotional conflicts

Detox Treatment Strategies
1. Remove the source: foods, metal implants (fillings…), cosmetics, personal
care products, pesticides (toxic metals and toxic chemicals).
2. Treat GI toxicity: mal-absorption, dysbiosis, allergic foods, leaky gut
3. Time on and time off- time to re-establish equilibrium, to dissolve and dilute
the toxins
4. HM are compartmentalized
5. Choose the appropriate detox agent for the compartment to be detoxed
6. Choose the appropriate test to confirm the detox from the body compartment
7. HM are removed in stages over time
8. Use multiple Chelation Methods and multiple routes of excretion.
9. For each un-resolved psycho-emotional conflict resolved, there is an aliquot
of toxic material stored in the body
10. Detox is an oxidative process, therefore needing anti-oxidants
11. HM detox is dependent on competitive minerals to displace HM from binding
sites as well as occupy binding sites , so that HM cannot reattach
12. Treat the hormonal dysfunction
13. Electrolyte and water support is very important
14. Rebuild the membranes (especially with toxic chemicals)
15. Immune modulation
5
16. Foods and diet: high mineral, moderate protein, good quality fats, foods high
in sulfur, foods high in anti-oxidants, eggs.
17. Drainage (detox) organ therapy: liver, lymph, kidney
18. Electrons need to be added to the system to mobilize the mercury, changing
the valence from the tightly bound form of +2 to the mobile form of 0. This is
accomplished by Vitamin C, electrotherapeutics (Electroblok), EDTA,

The importance of early detection of health problems

What are Functional Medicine/ Assessments?

Functional Medicine/ Health recognize the importance of early detection of health problems. Small deviations from normal or ideal health lead to greater bodily breakdown over time. The build up of these deviations result in pain, dysfunction, disease and increased deterioration, also known as the aging process.

Functional health emphasizes how the body works, as an interrelated whole unit- (holistic). Therefore, chronic disease, accelerated aging process, non-resolving bodily dysfunctions, chronic pain, problematic organ systems, or general bodily processes become problematic; a functional health assessment approach will seek root causes of the problem(s), identify and support the dysfunctional bodily systems, organs and tissues, and ultimately work toward the goal of health restoration.

Cellular and tissue disease/ dysfunction can be caused by (ab)-normal wear and tear, an individuals genetic disposition, the environment, nutrition, physical conditioning, and one’s ability to manage stressful situations/traumas (both good and bad) and how the individuals actions or inactions to these stressors may play a toxic role on their body.

In addition, all chronic problems and non-healing tissues are due to the body’s inability to efficiently process energy with oxygen, which Dr. Majid Ali refers to as Dys-oxygenosis. Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt would add that all chronic problems have some degree of Dys-autonomia. The autonomic nervous system’s primary function is to control the extra cellular and blood flow dynamics, bringing to the cells the nutrition and oxygen they need for life.

The root causes of dys-oxygenosis, dys-autonomia, and all chronic disease are what Klinghardt refers to as the “Seven Sins”:

1.Toxicity: multiple types of toxic overload

a.Bowel toxicity-bad bugs, leaky gut membranes, food sensitivities and the immunological compromises that ensue, all overloading and overwhelming the liver and other detoxifying organs; in addition a dysfunctional bowel minimizes nutritional up-take and is a source of chronic infections.

b.Heavy metals (mercury and other toxic metals);

c.Toxic chemicals

d.Chronic infections and their neurotoxins

2.Biochemical and Metabolic imbalances:

a.Hormonal/ metabolic dys-regulation: adrenal, thyroid, estrogen dominance, dys-glycemia (pancreas)

b.Nutritional metabolic imbalance and life style factors:

i.Metabolic typing, diet, nutrition, vitamins and minerals, proteins, essential fatty acids, water, exercise and sleep

ii.without proper nutrition, aging accelerates and healing is impaired

iii.

One must understand the specific genetic and biochemical problems and supplement with optimal nutrition for that individuals bio-chemical uniqueness, as well as support the dys-functional or weaken organs/ systems.

c.Dys-oxygenosis: lymph and blood congestion, tissue acidity (acidosis), increased oxidation (oxidosis) hyper-coagulation and blood vessel disease, results in reduction of oxygen to the tissues and the change of the local environment to an anaerobic (without oxygen) condition

1.All chronic disease and dys-function is due to lack of proper blood flow and lack of oxygen, resulting in a continued state of congestive problems. All functional therapeutics requires oxygen therapy and normalization of the acidic condition, which perpetuates the suspended state of dys-oxygenosis.

2.When tissues are deprived of oxygen, their energy production and function is reduced and overtime become degenerative or neoplastic (abnormal tissue growth, tumor)

d.Cell Communication dys-function:

i.Cells and nerves function with membranes that require neurotransmitters, electrolytes and immune factors. If there is a shortage of these important cellular communicators the nerves, muscles and all the cells of the body have less than optimal function.

ii.Neuro-transmitter precursors (amino acids), minerals and other electrolytes, herbs (nature’s drugs)and immune enhancing factors, as well as a membrane rehabilitation program of the essential fatty acids and other good fats is critical to the restoration of tissue health.

iii.Chronic pain or dys-function is a degenerative condition. Over time, the healthy functional nutritional reserves become eventually depleted due to poor choice in foods (diet), lack of supplements, and a dys-functional bowel.

Healing and optimal fitness require enhanced nutrition.

3.Allergies/ hypersensitivities/ Autoimmune/ Environmental disturbances

•Allergy/hypersensitivity is an Autonomic Nervous System dysfunction (disturbance), which (may) also include(s) the psycho-emotional centers (limbic brain) and/ or the

•Allergy is a conditioned reflex involving the psycho-neuro-immunological system, which is the primary stress reactor, adapting or mal-adapting to all stressors. Therefore all the stressors fore-mentioned are accumulative and causative of the hypersensitivities or allergies.

•Allergy/ hypersensitivity are very common problems. Affecting people of all ages, from infants to adults, healthy to the infirmed, and should by considered a part of every health restoration program.

•Allergy is an immunological (and toxic) assault with mild to potentially devastating consequences; (i.e. note since the advent of mandated vaccines, 1 in 250 male babies now have autism).

4.

Psycho-emotional dys-autonomia/ dys-regulation (Mental Health, Family Systems, and Spirituality)

This is the Mind/Body connection and more. All chronic problems (including chronic pain) have at its roots one or more unresolved psycho-emotional conflicts, which affect the patient’s beliefs, thoughts and attitudes; in addition, there can be unconscious family systems or karmic issues, which can be assessed and resolved, resulting in dramatic health benefits.

5.

Toxic Foci: Jaw bone cavitations, dead teeth, scars, chronic infected organs

•Toxic foci are electrical pathological disturbances, which overwhelm the Autonomic Nervous System; they usually have a chronic toxic component which the body cannot eliminate (i.e. jaw bone cavitations have mercury and chronic infections stored away from the immune system, dead teeth have the highly toxic thioethers and carcinogenic toxins from the infected root canal tubules, tonsils become toxic foci when they become overwhelmed from the toxic oral debris and are unable to function, scars are pathologic electrical tissues that trap toxic metals and chemicals) – scars are known to be a major energy block for the past 5000 years in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

•Toxic foci create autonomic nervous system dysfunctions which reduce the blood flow to the affected tissues, causing or contributing to reduced function and pain. Remove the toxic focus, re-establish blood flow and healing begins.

6.Structural dysfunctions: cranio-mandibular dysfunction (TMJ), leg length, cranial distortions

7.Noxious Energies: can be a major problem for biological systems because they affect the Autonomic Nervous System causing/ perpetuating dys-autonomia

•Noxious energies are:

oGeopathic stress, ground or earth radiation;

oElectromagnetic radiation or air radiation and radiation from x-rays

•Very important to consider in any chronic dys-ease /disease; it is often overlooked in Integrative Medicine and always overlooked in Conventional Medicine; Noxious energies can be the major perpetuating factor or precipitating reason in any disease patho-physiology or why a treatment program does not net results

•Any diseases, especially chronic ones must be ruled out for a noxious energetic component perpetuating factor: Arthritis, autoimmune, cancer, chronic fatigue, ANS dysfunction, immune dysfunction

Since the causes of disease and the body not healing are the aforementioned, functional health therapeutics tend to emphasize detoxification, supplementation, structural realignment, analysis and treatment of the dys-autonomia (the Autonomic Nervous System, the functional nervous system), lifestyle and environmental modification, as well as resolving psycho-emotional conflicts and other mental and deeper conflicts.

In short, to quote Dr. Charles Gant, “getting the bad stuff out and putting the good stuff in”; by finding out what part of the body is in need of attention, then intelligently support its regeneration and repair. The healing process involves one’s genetic constitution, physical body- exercise, retraining; the mind exercised and regenerated; the organs and their systems supported by the quality of the diet, environment, nutrition, water, and oxygen.

Functional Health understands the body to be an adaptive organism with self-preservation being the highest priority. Chronic health problems that perpetuate can be the result of an adaptive process that is either overwhelmed or becomes stuck. The strategies of functional health are to analyze weak or chronically mal-adaptive bodily tissues and aim therapy to support the natural healing process.

Functional Assessment

Key concepts:

Functional Assessments are the newest form of Medical health assessment (test). Functional tests measure bodily function (or dysfunction) not specific diseases. These types of health assessments often require more

interpretation of the data than pathologically based medical tests, and therefore should not be used as a single assessment only. To obtain a full and accurate functional assessment, the health team should employ multiple assessments of bodily function to observe trends and verify accuracy. There are different types of medical tests that assess function:

I.Functional History- by accounting for and grading a patient’s signs and symptoms, functional stresses and weaknesses in various organ systems can be observed.

II.Biochemical Lab tests are the cornerstone of modern medicine and the new breed of Functional Lab Assessments measure how an organ or bodily system is functioning.

III.Tissue and physical examinations compare optimal tissue/structural morphology with the patient’s, to obtain functional health information.

IV.Functional (biofeedback) tests that engage the Functional Nervous System- the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS). These, the newest type of functional tests, measure ANS response in different ways. The ANS functional testing techniques usually challenge the ANS and then measure the biofeedback.

V.Other various assessments not found in the above four categories

Functional testing is a newly developing form of medical assessment embraced by Integrative and Preventive practitioners, and slowly being incorporated into medical mainstream. Functional tests measure bodily function (or dysfunction), as opposed to other medical tests and imaging tools, which measure pathological breakdown and disease. Functional changes occur long before diseases are manifested, so functional testing becomes an early warning test which is ideal for preventive oriented doctors and professionals concerned about finding the root cause of the patient’s problem.

Measuring bodily function through functional assessments can give the practitioner and patient good insight into finding the causes of the health problem, the organ systems that are weakened, the toxic and infestation load, emotional problems and other things that may be impacting the patient’s health. There are multiple types of functional assessments, each with its own strengths and many with overlap of information. All functional assessments compare the patient sample to a more rigid optimal set of biochemical or anatomical parameters, therefore these tests often require more interpretation of the data than the pathologically based tests.

At present there are four distinct types of functional tests:

I. Functional Comprehensive Health History or review of multiple signs and symptoms can indicate stress or functional problems in organs and bodily systems. These pencil and paper assessments and assessments made by other traditional forms of medicine, can be a valuable (self-learning) experience for the patient and collaborate well with other assessments.

Functional History Examples:

•Ayurvedic/Siddha Veda Medicine

•Indigenous Medicine

•Metabolic Typing

•NIHA History

•Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

II. Biochemical Laboratory functional tests that measure body fluids and tissues such as blood, saliva, urine, stool and hair. A biochemical lab test measures organ or bodily systems function. Some of the types of Functional Lab tests currently used by integrated professionals are:

Standard blood tests that can be developed into functional assessments by analyzing small deviations from the normal (or optimal values) and not the traditional pathological or larger deviations. In addition, correlating the functional values of the standard blood tests can give a wealth of functional health information. Doctors practicing Functional Medicine and the Labs who serve their needs are developing many different biochemical lab tests that measure bodily function.

Laboratory Functional Test Examples:

•Adrenal Stress Profile

•Amino Acids Analysis

•Biological Terrain Assessment (BTA)

•Blood Allergy tests:

o

ALCAT

oELISA

•Cancer Marker Tests

•Essential Fatty Acids Analysis

•Functional Blood Analysis

•Hair Mineral Analysis

•RBC Mineral Analysis

•Cardiac (Heart) Marker Tests

Bowel/Liver Tests – Comprehensive Metabolic Panel

•Salivary Hormones

•Stool analysis

•Urine Organic Acid

III. Analysis of bodily tissues and structures and the interpretation of the morphological changes into functional assessment. In this group can be included:

Functional Morphology Tests:

Biotype Diet

•Iridology

•Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been assessing morphological changes of the face and tongue to assess functional health in their healing system for many thousands of years. As with other functional tests, the structural group analyzes small deviations from the normal and interprets the results. All functional tests require a certain degree of interpretation by a skilled practitioner.

IV. Biofeedback assessments that engage the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) for functional information.

The Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) is the functional nervous system. It controls all the bodily functions, turning on and off blood flow, organ and glandular function, modulating the immune response; in addition the ANS is continually being modulated by the emotional centers of the brain. The ANS coordinates all the internal unconscious bodily activities. To facilitate its function, the ANS has a vast sensory input, from all the tissues (organs and structures) of the body and the five senses. The sensory input is received by the ANS brain centers (which include the emotional centers) analyzed and the body functionally responds to the internal or external stimuli. The ANS stores a vast amount of information about the health and well being of the patient. During functional testing, the ANS is challenged with a stressor and interprets the response.

The technology in biofeedback assessment is rapidly advancing and the mystery of the bio-physics of the human body is unlocked and utilized for the vast information it contains. Frequency fields, generated locally in the brain or the whole body are very useful for they are thought to contain all our information.

There are many different devices belonging to this group each assessing the ANS in a different way.

Biofeedback Testing Examples:

•ALMA/ORION & Erchonia Lasers

•Autonomic Response Testing (ART)

•Brain Mapping “QEEG”

•Brain Train

•Computerized Regulation Thermography (CRT)

•Computron

•Digital Infra-red Thermal Imaging (DITI)

•Electro Dermal Screening (EDS)

•Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG)

•Electroencephalogram (EEG)

•Heart Rate Variability (HRV)

•Meridian Energy Analysis Device (MEAD)

•Nutri-Energetics System (NES)

Conclusion:

As previously discussed, we prefer to use multiple functional assessments to guide us in determining your functional or root cause problems-and what treatment options we could employ for regaining your health. Multiple functional tests help us to be certain that our assessments are accurate. We usually find a high degree of correlation, which reinforces our treatment strategies. In addition, some functional tests are better at assessing certain health information better than other assessments.

New Paradigms in Health & Healing

Understanding Functional Assessments

Identifying Root Causes in Health Issues

Functional Medicine has been defined as “the field of healthcare which employs assessment and early intervention into the improvement of physiological, cognitive, emotional and physical functioning”.

(J. Bland PhD 1996).

This field of modern medicine enables Healthcare Practitioners to identify root causes of health conditions by combining the results of science based tests. Functional assessments are not standard medical tests, but go to the next level by investigating biochemical individuality and metabolic imbalances that are likely to cause a specific disease process.

Based on the functional assessment results, the practitioner is able to develop a personalized “patient specific” treatment protocols, to reverse, stop or prevent the disease and its related symptoms. The practitioner also works in collaboration with the patient to optimize their biochemistry, biological and psychological functions, customize nutrition programs, monitor results of the therapies, and adjust therapeutic protocols accordingly.

What is Integrative Medicine (IM)?

The clinical practice of Integrative Medicine blends disciplines of Conventional and Complementary & Alternative Medicine (CAM) professions without subservience to any one school of medical thought. Integrative Medicine practices the distinctive use of Integrative Medical Models. These models reflect both ancient and modern wisdom with the primary goal of restoring health function.

Understanding the two complementary parts to Integrative Medicine (IM):

1.The Conventional Medical (CM) standard of care utilizes history, physical exam, lab tests, imaging and other tools to render a pathological diagnosis. CM focuses on pathology and disease, which is critical in fully understanding the patient’s condition.

•Conventional Medical diagnosed diseases often result in therapeutic use of suppressive and physiologically altering pharmaceuticals and/ or surgery.

2.CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine) standard of care utilizes functional history and assessments to determine the functional root causes of the disease, dysfunction or state of health.

•Functional Health is concerned about how the body is functioning. Therapy is aimed at normalizing the bodily functions, supporting the natural processes of healing, at all levels of healing (body, mind and spirit), whenever possible.

•Functional Assessment is a CAM assessment standard of care. Like Conventional Medical, the Functional assessment uses Functional: histories, physical evaluation morphology, biochemical labs, neuro-biologic biofeedback and other tests to determine the root causes of the disease/ dysfunction.

•A Functional Health assessment is an appropriate matrix for wellness or disease. The Functional assessment will elucidate the root causes if disease or dysfunctions are present. If one has no pathological signs and symptoms, a Functional assessment can document one’s degree of health (wellness) or underlying functional problems which may set in motion important preventive health measures.

“Le Cocktail” for Basic Neurotoxin Detox

Chlorella, Cilantro, Fish oils, and Freeze Dried Garlic Detox with biologic substances- toxin elimination, support, rehabilitation and anti-microbial treatment

Detoxification is a life-long project. Neurotoxins are one of the biggest health issues that affect the entire human race from the unborn to the elderly. We accumulate neurotoxins from many sources throughout our lives. If you breath, eat or drink in this modern world; if you have or had mercury-filling dentistry (or your mother had mercury fillings), been vaccinated, taken medicines supplements or herbs and even been drinking “healthy water” from plastic bottles, if you have applied lotions, cosmetics, soaps or many other “modern” products to your skin, you have a potentially health altering total load of heavy metals (mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic…); toxic chemicals – petroleum solvents, plastics, insecticides, herbicides and other toxic chemicals that are being placed into our environment, foods, and on our bodies; and probably have cultivated a variety of neurotoxin producing chronic infections from molds and fungus, virus (Herpes), Lyme and the co-infections, bacteria and other unwanted critters.

Neurotoxins poison all the cells of our body but especially the brain, nerves and the immune system. All neurotoxins are detoxed the same way– that is from the skin, kidney but primarily the liver-bowel. Removing neurotoxins from your bowel is critical for successful treatment of heavy metal, toxic chemical, chronic infection detoxification as well as endogenous toxins that are produced by the “bad” bugs in the bowel and exogenous toxins that we eat. Toxicity, specifically neurotoxicity, is one of the root causes of all chronic diseases and clearly responsible for the rapid rise in neurological, psychological and neurodegenerative disorders from infants to seniors. The importance of binding neurotoxins and removing them in the feces is outlined in the section titled “Understanding the elimination of Neurotoxins…”

“Le Cocktail” is a natural and the most effective “detox for life” basic strategy; it forms the basics and pillars of all our detox programs. Of course, if you are damaged from a total toxic load and want or need a quicker detox program, chemical detoxification and support agents are also important (in addition to “Le Cocktail”). But once health is restored then Le Cocktail is all you need to naturally and periodically keep your health vibrant. Remember detoxification even with living a clean life is essential for life. Detox natural and man-made toxins with natural substances when you can. Natures detox remedies contain so many more factors to turn on your innate detox mechanisms.

Active detox lasts for 6-24 months. The lessons learned are applied to maintenance for life.

#1 Chlorella (for viruses, bacteria, toxins and nutrients) is our food of choice for detoxing the bowel and body, because it is not only a good natural chelator but a very important food supplying many vital nutrients required to detox and promote health. Other alternatives to bowel detox of neurotoxins are apple pectin, Zeolite, chitosan, charcoal, clay and cholestyramin.

Chlorella is both a chelator – moving heavy metals out of the body and a mobilizer, moving mercury and other heavy metals from deeper stores to more readily removal areas. We use in it both capacities.

There are three strategies to dosing chlorella:

i.Low dose:  this dose will bind mercury and other heavy metals in the food that you eat (i.e. mercury and other toxic metals and chemicals in sea food, fish oils, non-organic foods).

ii.Mobilizing dose: ; the dose could be taken all at once or divided with meals, at night. (See below).

iii.Chelating dose: 2-3 times the mobilizing dose – to be used during chelation cycle days prior to meals and at bed.

There are two strategies concerning when and how much chlorella to dose:

i.Take the entire mobilizing dose at one time once or twice a day 1 hour away from food. This is the best strategy for gut detox because it concentrates the chlorella in the gut, scrubbing the heavy metals from the biofilm, gut lining and the pathogens. This strategy is often used earlier in the detox treatment (Phase II), when bowel functional restoration is important.

ii.Once the gut and extra cellular connective tissues have been detoxed for at least 1 month (for some longer), chlorella and cilantro are used in “Le Cocktail” for the most effective detox combination. The strategy is to take chlorella 30-60 minutes before meals and/ or at night before bed followed by cilantro. This strategy is most effective in binding neurotoxins that are removed by the liver and delivered to the bowel via the bile, preventing their re-uptake by the bowel nervous system.

Chlorella is used with other detox agents and support agents, enhancing their effectiveness. This is a sample of some of the agents we use.

•Nanonizing chlorella products: Matrix Metals, NDF, Metal Free

•Anti-oxidants: Vitamin C and E; High Orac foods – Ecklonia Cava, Reservitol, anti-oxidant super foods – Acai, Gogi, Noni, wild blueberry…

•Minerals and electrolytes

•Sulfur supplements: MSM, DL Methionine, taurine, garlic, NAC

•Zeolites: HP Zeolite, ACZnano (advanced cellular Zeolite), Natural Cellular Defense,

•Phospho lipids with Ca EDTA and other detox factors: Phospholipid exchange, Detox max, Lipoflow

•OSR – Oxidative Stress Release

•Chelating agents: DMPS, DMSA, Na EDTA, D-Penicillamine, glutathione

Note: Chlorella and cilantro needs to be taken away from Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), because ascorbic acid will cleave the heavy metals off the chlorella and cilantro rendering them ineffective as binding agents. Vitamin C complex, the high orac polyphenols and other natural phyto-nutrients do not have this same action. Therefore take Vitamin C supplements with Ascorbic acid away from chlorella and cilantro. At least, 20 minutes away from cilantro, and 45-60 minutes away from chlorella. If you follow Le Cocktail recommendations this has been accounted for.

# 2 Cilantro tincture (for bacteria, viruses, toxins) is added to Le Cocktail usually after 1 or more months of detox (which begins after the Mercury fillings are removed). It is capable of mobilizing mercury, lead, aluminum, nickel and cadmium in both bones and the nervous system. In addition, it can cross the brain barrier and mobilize the mercury stored inside the cells. Cilantro mobilizes more toxins than it can carry, therefore it may flood the connective tissues and lead to re-toxification or re-distribution. Therefore, cilantro must be given with a connective tissue and bowel binding agent like chlorella. It is an ideal adjunct during any chelation phase detox remedies. Cilantro is very important after the bowel, and other detox issues, which focus on detoxing the connective tissues, have been addressed – usually after Phase II.

The other detox issues that need to be corrected prior to efficient detox are: sulfur metabolism, methylation, glutathione metabolism, anti-oxidant, sulfur and mineral restoration, protein metabolism and digestion, essential fatty acid supplementation and drainage organ rehabilitation. Without these basics in place, deep detox (with cilantro or any other detox agent) is useless because the toxins will only be redistributed into the connective tissues where the autonomic nerves reside and cause more symptoms and misery.

Cilantro is a liver-bile tonic, stimulating bile production and excretion (where the neurotoxins are stored). It is high in bio-active Selenium, a must for effective mercury detox.

Oral cilantro is added to Le Cocktail usually after 1-2 months (after the initial Bowel and Matrix detox). Cilantro tinctures are best prepared in hot water, which will evaporate a mild toxin in the tincture and create a more active product. In Le Cocktail think of cilantro an appetizer, just prior to the meal getting the liver and bile prepared to detox during the meal.

•Cilantro can be used fresh: a handful of fresh cilantro in a cup of hot miso soup

•Topical cilantro – penetrates the skin and removes toxins and mercury from the structures and organs under the skin or site of delivery. In addition, the wrists and ankles have dense sympathetic nerve and lymphatic distribution, which facilitates nerve and lymphatic distribution.

# 3 Organic freezed dried Garlic (microbes, toxins, sulfur)

Garlic has two functions in Le Cocktail:

A.Supplying many detox and supporting factors critical for detox including multiple sulfur compounds and bio active selenium. Any quality garlic supplement is OK provided it is organic. I.E. Freezed Dried, Bear Garlic tincture but others like Kyloic will work.

B.Allicin, which is a compound found in Garlic, is a most effective broad spectrum anti-microbial. Unfortunately, allicin has a shelf life of only 14 days. Only fresh and freeze dried garlic provides bio-active Allicin (anti-viral, antibiotic, anti-parasitic, anti-fungal).

Dosage and stategies:

i.Start with 1 capsule and increase to 2-4 caps 1-3 times per day. It can be taken before or after meals. The best timing is to use after the meal so the Allicin is not destroyed;

1.Open the capsules into water, stir and let sit for 5 minutes so the Allicin can become active; use once or twice a day.

2.If you are actively fighting some chronic infection, dose garlic 2-3 times a day after meals; if not, garlic once a day is adequate.

ii.Fresh garlic with meals, garlic tincture over foods

iii.Bear garlic tincture is excellent for use in detox, but less effective as antimicrobial agent (no active Allicin)

iv.Garlic until you reek – then back off so that you are not socially unacceptable

#4 Fish oils (microcirculation; cell membrane, nerve and brain rehabilitation and cell wall flexibility)

Membrane rehabilitation with essential fatty acids is an essential part of neurotoxin detox and is the 4th ingredient in Le Cocktail. Suspect that all fish oils contain mercury (no matter what their marketing department claims), therefore eat the fish oils with chlorella and you will have the benefit of these essential nutrients for supporting your neurotoxin detox and healing the damage – while binding the mercury in the gut.

Cilantro tincture

Usually added to Le Cocktail after 1-2 months once the bowel (inflammation, function and detox) and matrix has been initially detoxed and the genetic, metabolic and other factors that inhibit detox are addressed. (E.G. KPU, methylation, sulfur metabolism, glutathione metabolism, minerals, amino acids, electrolytes, drainage organ rehabilitation, water and general hydration, essential fatty acids)

Notes:

• The most important strategy is to take the Chlorella and Le Cocktail, how and when is secondary. Make life as simple on your self as possible

•It is best for some to start slowly with chlorella  until you have obtained your recommended mobilizing dose.

•In the early phases of detox, it is best to take your Chlorella dose away from food by at least one hour, taking the entire dose at one time. This will be more concentrated and will detox the gut better than if chlorella is eaten with meals where it is diluted.

•However, if you have GI disturbance with chlorella,

i. Divide your dose and take with meals. Although this will provide less bowel detox action and be less effective, but it may be easier on the stomach.

ii. Evaluate for allergy to mercury and chlorella

iii. Add cellulose enzyme for better digestion (Candisol)

iv. Increase the dose. See below

• Some people have problems digesting the cell wall of chlorella. Options:

i. Add Candisol, a cellulase enzyme or other cellulase products, which can be purchased at health food stores.

ii. C vulgarus has a thinner cell wall and is better tolerated by people with digestive problems. It lacks sporopollein and has less mercury absorptive capacity.

iii. If still a problem, switch to Porpha-zyme (Biotics), or one of the clatherating agents (Matrix Metals, NDF, PCA, Metal Free).

• Most side effects reflect the toxic effect of the mobilized metals, which are shuttled through the body. This problem is instantly avoided by significantly increasing the chlorella dosage. Do not reduce it; that worsens the problem. Small chlorella doses mobilize more metals that are bound up in the gut; large chlorella doses bind up more toxins that are mobilized.

•If you have capsules or tablets, chewing the chlorella is the best because saliva will tag the chlorella naturally (with monoclonal antibodies) and delivered to the most receptive areas.

•The gut is the major route for heavy metal detoxification; therefore the gut must be functioning well with (ideally) multiple bowel movements per day. If not, re-absorption of the mercury is likely to occur.

II. Chelating Phase: for 2-3 days: Start to double or triple the doses of Le Cocktail the day before your chelation appointment and continue the 2-3 times dose, the day of the IV chelation and the day after, which is usually the day of the IV Vitamin and Mineral (with high dose Vitamin C) and Glutathione. It is advisable to have this third day an active spa day to enhance toxin removal after mobilization and chelation. See below.

•This is a chelation dose of chlorella that is designed to move the mercury and other heavy metals and toxic chemicals out (through the bowel) aggressively. Cilantro and Garlic are increased accordingly, fish oils are not increased.

•Le Cocktail of chlorella, cilantro and garlic in this dosage can be used as an At Home naturopathic chelation by itself, with or without In Office chelation. (I.E. DMPS, DMSA, EDTA). Using multiple chelators always enhances the toxic yield. It is still best to use a 2-3 day chelation cycle with multiple chelators even is no in office chelation is planned.

•If you have advanced to deeper Phase III and IV detox using DMSA and EDTA oral /suppositories, OSR, Phospho Lipid Exchange, Alpha Lipoic Acid and other strategies that take you out of the monthly cycle, use Le Cocktail mobilizing and chelation dosages in whatever phase you are in.

The day after the chelation we usually schedule a vitamin and mineral IV with glutathione, which is also a chelator with a slightly different action (for toxic chemicals and brain detox; enhancing mineral stabilization). Extend the chelation dose of “Le Cocktail” to cover the day of this therapy.

•The detox spa can greatly enhance the detox of neurotoxins – mercury and other heavy metals, toxic chemicals, chronic infection neurotoxins etc. It is best to do detox spa procedures the day after the IV chelation. The procedures to consider are:

1. Lymphatic treatment – KLM (micro-current), massage, Chi machine

2.Skin detox: Infra- red sauna or ozone steam; Mercury vapor lamp

3.Bowel: colonics

4.Detox foot baths: Toxaway, Aqua Chi, BEFE; stimulates the kidney and liver meridian at the feet to effectively increase toxin elimination activity of both organs. There is also direct active lymphatic excretion of toxins across the soles of the feet. This procedure should always be used on the chelation day.

III. Post-chelation Phase: For 3-4 days after the finish of the chelating phase.

Chlorella. The maintenance/mobilizing doses should be taken in divided dosages with meals to clean and bind mercury and other toxic metals and chemicals from its release in the liver.

Fish oils. Same dose, take with chlorella.

Garlic. Optional unless active against chronic infections

Cilantro. Do not take.

• This is the time to do gall bladder flushes and to take additional GI binders

IV. Stabilization Phase: For 7 days after the finish of the post-chelation phase. No chlorella, or cilantro, garlic optional and continue the fish oils along with other supplements.

•During this resting phase from active detox it is important for the body to passively diffuse the toxins from the deeper binding sites to the connective tissues recently detoxed. It is a time to re-mineralize, drain, and build up the anti-oxidants, proteins and other critical health factors.

•If eating fish or other mercury contaminated products, take ½ -1 grams of chlorella with meal to bind the mercury in the bowel.

Understanding the elimination of neurotoxins using chlorella/ cilantro

Chlorella is a very important food for detoxifying all neurotoxins from the bowel. Chlorella is the only intelligent chelator and very effectively removes neurotoxins. It is also a whole and complete natural food supplying a rich source of amino acids, essential fatty acids, B-12 and vitamins and minerals. Some consider Chlorella to be one of the best natural foods available, It is by far the largest health food eaten by more people world-wide.

Neurotoxins include:

(i) toxic heavy metals (mercury, lead cadmium, aluminum…)

(ii) toxic chemicals (phthalates and other plasticizers; benzene, styrene) formaldehyde, dioxin, insecticides, solvents, flame retardants, PCB’s)

(iii) (iii) biodoxins from chronic infections (lyme, botulinum, parasites, clamydia , TB, fungus, candida, virus to name a few), and

(iv) other endogenous and exogenous neurotoxins (foods, preservatives, cosmetics, bad gut bugs).

Neurotoxins are not excreted easily and are naturally excreted from the bowel via the liver and bile. Unfortunately neurotoxins are naturally and mostly re-absorbed in the bowel by its vast nervous complex (enteric nervous system) and then redistributed into first the liver then to the brain, peripheral nerves, cellular membranes fat or other bodily compartments.

To effectively remove the neurotoxin, they need to be effectively bound in the upper part of the small intestine, when the bile is secreted during digestion. Chlorella eaten with food or dosing chlorella 30-60 minutes prior to a cilantro dose will bind the neurotoxin in the bile with the chlorella and carry it out in the feces. Cilantro causes the liver to release the bile. Cilantro is also an important source of organic selenium, a very important mineral in heavy metal detox.

The action of cilantro is quick (about 20 min). Cilantro mobilizes mercury and other neurotoxins from the cell membranes but does not chelate (or pull them out well). Therefore an important detox strategy is to have chlorella on board at the time of mobilization (taking cilantro) to more effectively chelate the metals out.

More on the ingredients of Le Cocktail

Chlorella is a major nutrient in Heavy Metal Detoxification

♦ Chlorella is the most studied nutrient (2000 pier reviewed articles, mostly Asian)

♦Can be used prior to Hg filling removal [1-2 weeks] and is part of the pre-dental protocol. It won’t remove Hg from fillings (like other chelating agents), so it can be used safely with Hg fillings in the mouth (pre-dental protocol).

♦Binds heavy metals in the gut, and will also bind mercury in the blood circulating through the bowel wall. The clatherating agents or HM binding peptides appear to pass through the bowel and enter the blood stream and extra cellular spaces. It does not cross the brain barrier.

♦Chlorella binds strongly to all Heavy Metals and therefore can become contaminated with HM easily; some sources appear to be contaminated;

quality is important. Cracking the cell walls of the chlorella (with sound) to access the metal binding peptides is proprietary to some brands.

♦Can be used as a mobilizing agent or chelating agent depending upon the dosage.

♦Chlorella is an excellent food for detox, a complete source of amino acids, B12, essential fatty acids and a good mineral source; green foods are very good for gut health and alkalizing the body; it has anti-bacterial and viral properties, and enhances growth hormone.

♦There are two species of chlorella that are important for detox:

♦C. pyreneidosa is better for the absorption of toxins, but harder to digest,

♦C. vulgaris has a higher amount of chlorella growth factor content, is easier to digest but less metal binding capability

Detox properties of Chlorella (most in pier review)

•Anti-viral – CMV and other herpes Viruses

•Toxin binding (muco-polysaccharide membrane) – toxic metals, environmental toxins (use for Toxic Chemical detox concurrently)

•Repairs and activates the body’s detoxification functions:

oDramatically increases reduced glutathione

oVarious peptides restore coeruloplasmin and metallothionine

•Sporopollein effective in binding neurotoxins (as effective as cholestyramin) and more effective in binding toxic metals than any other natural substance

•Lipids (12.4%) of alpha and gamma linoleic acid – for membrane and peroxisomes rehabilitation

•Methyl-cobalamin – important in any nervous system detox and restoration

•Chlorella growth factor – helps with detox and is also a superfood for growth and development in children

•Porphyrins in chlorophyll have strong mental binding effect; Chlorophyll activates the PPAR receptor on the nucleus of the cell, which is responsible for peroxisome coding (turns on the gene), opening the cell wall (important for all detox procedures), normalizing insulin resistance and more. Note that medical drugs that activate the PPAR receptor (pioglaiazone) effective in treatment of breast and prostate cancer.

•Super nutrient: 50-60% amino acid (good for vegetarians), methyl-cobalamine, minerals, vitamins, chlorophyll

•Immune system tonic

•Restores bowel flora by reducing the heavy metal binding on the pathogenic bacteria and fungus, thereby reducing their competitive advantage with the beneficial bacteria

•Digestive aid

•Alkalinizing agent” Klinghardt

Organic freezed dried Garlic (microbes, toxins, sulfur)

Garlic has two functions in Le Cocktail:

1. Supplying many detox and supporting factors critical for detox – protects the white and red blood cells from oxidative damage caused by the metals traveling through the blood stream, many sulfur compounds critical for detox and in itself a weak chelator helping to make the toxic metals water soluble, thus aiding in the excretion. Garlic increases glutathione, protects brain from oxidative stress, increases antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action; protects against heart disease by decreases homocysteine, cholesterol and oxidized LDL, garlic is anti-cancer, modulates epinephrine and nor-epinephrine (stress) and decreases fibrinogen, which is part of the coagulopathy of toxic patients. For these important functions any garlic is OK provided it is organic and processed with care. I.E. Freezed Dried, Bear Garlic tincture but others like Kyloic will work.

Organic garlic is critical because garlic will attract and bind toxins (like pesticides and herbicides if grown in these environments

1.Metal toxic patients always suffer from secondary infections, which are often responsible for part of their overall symptoms. The allison in garlic is one of the most broad spectrum anti-microbials in nature, in which no microorganism has ever developed resistance. Garlic is anti-biotic, anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic. In addition, organic garlic is high in bio-active selenium, which has a strong anti-viral properties and is the most important mineral that protects against mercury toxicity.

Fish oils (microcirculation; cell membrane, nerve and brain rehabilitation and cell wall flexibility)

Membrane rehabilitation with essential fatty acids is an essential part of neurotoxin detox and is the 4th ingredient in Le Cocktail. Suspect that all fish oils contain mercury (no matter what the marketing department claims), therefore eat the fish oils with chlorella and you will have the benefit of these essential nutrients for supporting your neurotoxin detox and healing the damage. Notes on fish oils and essential fatty acids are:

• Essential Fatty Acids (EFA) are an important, forgotten part of most chronic degeneration conditions. The membranes are the life of every biological system. Eating healthy fats and oils and removing the “bad” fats from your diet (trans fats and reducing saturated fats) is critical to restoring health.

•Good health and eating choices are critical to your success. Understanding and coaching from life style/ nutrition detox coaches can help you incorporate the healthy fats and supplements into your routine.

•Rehabilitating the cellular membranes is critical in repairing the nerve and brain – the organs affected by the mercury toxicity,

•But it is more critical in the early stages of detox to help the liver and other detox organs function, for all detoxification occurs on cellular membranes and membrane structures (peroxisomes)

Ca/ Mg Butyrate: butyrate is a short chained fatty acid usually produced by healthy bacteria in the gut, which is absorbed into the liver and used as fuel by the hepatocyte (the liver cells) to detoxify (in the peroxisome). Until the bowel is

1-2 caps with food, usually one bottle is sufficient

Eat butter – butyrate=butter

Peroxisome metabolism also enhanced by hormones (thyroid, DHEA), B2, Manganese and biotin, thiamin and B-12 (cobalamine) and chlorella;

Phospholipids supplementation and therapy is important for nerve, brain and all membrane repairs. This can be an enhancement with the Le Cocktail in Phase III and IV. When nutrients and remedies are combined with phospholipids consisting of phosphatidylcloline, phosphatidylinositol and phoshoatidylethanolamine, their bioavailability is greatly enhanced. This forms the basis for Phospholipid enhanced products; and taking phospholipids at the time when taking supplementation nutrients and remedies.

Phospholipid detox formulas: Phospholipid exchange, Lipoflow, Detox Max

Phospholipid Exchange: (Biopure)

Combination of microsphere encapsulated Disodium EDTA and essential phospholipids. Taken orally this product enhances the transport of Phospholipid Exchange through the intestinal wall barrier, blood/ cell and blood/ brain barrier.

This product successfully eliminates the possibility of diarrhea symptoms. There is a slow release of EDTA systemically over 48 hours, greatly decreasing the possibility of kidney overload with heavy metals. Phospholipid Exchange produces ‘true’ plasma soluble ion exchange properties, thereby minimizing beneficial mineral excretion.

EDTA has been used to detoxify the body of heavy metals, primarily lead, cadmium, nickel and arsenic (but not mercury very well); it has been used for clearing the cardiovascular system. In the past EDTA administration has required IV infusions.

Healing benefits: lowers total serum cholesterol, decreases LDL (bad cholesterol, increases HDO (good cholesterol), increases peripheral and brain circulation, decreases reactive platelet aggregation by 60% in patients with angina pectoris, increases fluidity of RBC cell membranes, decreases angina and helps eliminate chest pains attacks, increases exercise tolerance with angina prone patients.

Ingredients: 1 oz. I gm. Disodium EDTA, 30 g of Essential Phospholipid (EPL), 150 mg of Magnesium chloride, 100 mg of Alpha Lipoic Acid

Mix OSR in the Phospholipid exchange

Acupuncture is a Blood and Cellular Therapy

Acupuncture is a regulation therapy, which modulates the ANS, increasing the blood flow and cellular responsiveness. Its effect will last for 3-7 days.
Acupuncture is a very effective and long tested method to reestablish normal regulation to tissues and organs. A relationship with a Traditional Chinese Medical Doctor during detox is very helpful.

• The Reflexes of the body are concentrated autonomic mappings and when stimulated will increase blood flow to the affected organ. The ear, foot and head are some of the better known reflexes. We are literally tied together by the functional Autonomic Nervous System, the significance of which is not fully understood.

o The hand reflex has been extensively studied by Dr. Yoshiaki Omoura. When these points are vigorously rubbed for 4-5 minutes, the blood flow to the particular site will measurably increase. The effect will last for 5-6 hours. According to Dr. Omoura’s research, the hand reflex is the most powerful reflex to stimulate blood flow. The hand reflex is readily available for self treatment at home.

o The medulla of the brain is located below the “bump” in the back of the head and can be stimulated directly or indirectly for drug up-take for all areas at once. The hand reflex point for the medulla is the back of the middle finger above the first joint – pinch it for 5 min. The medulla can be stimulated directly by placing a magnet with the south -pole (or negative pole) against the skin. For drug up-take to work metals across the mid-line (including glasses and jewelry) should not be worn,
rings and watches (metals that encircle the body will prevent up-take), electro10 magnetic devises such as watches, pagers, phones and areas of high EMF pollution should be avoided. Synthetic clothes and clothes labels that have metal (most) will prevent up-take.

To get the most out of your at home therapy, to target the remedies to the areas where it is needed the most, drug up-take is very important. The remedies for heavy metals and chronic infections simply will not go to the areas needed without these techniques or another remedy up-take procedure listed in this section. If drug up-take is hard to do during the day because of schedule, this procedure should be done at night before bed to get the remedies working through the night.

MFT (Master Field Therapy) tapping points

Tapping master acupuncture points have been used very effectively in a number of therapeutic disciplines. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or Thought Field

Therapy has used these MFT points to remove the emotional blocks or change the charge behind mental, emotional and physical issues and very successfully eliminate the health problem. EFT is a simple technique, which when learned, can be employed at home to help with any of a wide variety of health problems – pain, anxiety, allergy, addiction and cravings, and any other physical, emotional and mental problem.

Each patient has specific MFT master acupuncture points that when stimulated will regulate the autonomic nervous system. By tapping these points, drug / remedy uptake will also be affected. Therefore before any detox remedy (or any other food, nutrient, drug or supplement) we strongly suggest this simple 1-2 minute exercise. The effects are multiple; remedy/drug uptake, less allergy (or ANS hyper-reaction) to everything, better therapeutic effects and by reinforcing ANS regulation your nervous system can start to react appropriately.

Home Detox Strategy Needs Some Form of Remedy Drug Up-Take Enhancement

Remedy (drug) uptake enhancement is an important part of any detoxification program and an important regulation concept to understand in general for more effective
results in any health endeavor. It is very applicable for in office and at home parts of the detox program. Remedy uptake enhancement is important for functionally rehabilitating the organs and tissues most affected by the heavy metal toxicity. Enhancing the uptake of remedies (into the areas that need it the most) involves increasing blood flow and autonomic regulation to chronically impaired organs and tissues. One of the devastating effects of heavy metal toxicity is the compromising effects it has on the autonomic nervous system, the functional nervous system, responsible for blood flow and nutrient (and remedy) tissue uptake. Tissues laden with mercury and other heavy metals usually demonstrate reduced blood flow due to ANS disturbance. If remedy uptake enhancement is not employed, the remedies taken orally or parentally (IV / IM) will be distributed throughout the body but relatively in less proportion to the ANS compromised area.

The objective in detoxification or any other therapy is to place as little of the remedy is the body while maximizing the dosage in the areas needing it the most. Therefore, to increase the blood flow (and healing) to the affected organs or tissues and to increase the remedy uptake to the identified areas of toxic accumulation is a prudent detoxification strategy.
There are a number of Regulation Therapies that affect the blood flow and Autonomic Nervous System regulation. These techniques should be employed during the
chelation phase (and to a lesser amount it is optional during the mobilization phase) to maximize the drug up-take of whatever is being taken therapeutically.

• Neural Therapy is a German therapy, which traditionally involves the injection of Novocain and other (regulation and chelation) remedies. Novocain injected into the skin, tissues or ANS structures, will increase the blood flow to the area for 3-7 days and often permanently overcome the hypoperfusion to the affected tissues or organs. Neural therapy is very effective in heavy metal detox because the remedies can be loaded into the injection and taken up by the ANS nerves and tissues directly.  This is all done under medical supervision in a medical practice.

• Neural therapy and functional rehabilitation of any tissue or organ can be delivered energetically without injections with:

o Low Level Laser therapy devises; (in-office or at home) is deeply penetrating and very effective for brain, tooth, mouth and any other organ or structure that needs enhanced detoxification or rehabilitation.

o Face/ body shield: a multi laser system that flood the area; very effective for kidney, liver and toning any part of the body

o Anodyne: is a multi laser system that is very effective

o Special electrical units that function as ANS – TENS units: (Electroblok).

• Laser enhanced detox (LED) or the Dr. Cowden protocol

o This is a very sophisticated technique that uses laser enhancement and frequencies of heavy metal and chemical toxins, allergens, pathogens and their healing antidotes to correct the autonomic dysfunction in the affected organs (and thus an effective drug uptake), as well as energetically releasing the toxins from the affected bodily compartment.

• Acupuncture is a regulation therapy, which modulates the ANS, increasing the blood flow and cellular responsiveness. Its effect will last for 3-7 days. Acupuncture is a very effective and long tested method to reestablish normal regulation to tissues and organs. A relationship with a Traditional Chinese Medical Doctor during detox is very helpful.

Mercury Detox Instructions

The best strategy for mercury (and other heavy metals) detox is to take chlorella ½ to 1 hour before cilantro. If one applies this strategy around a meal, take chlorella before the meal and cilantro at the beginning of the meal and Vitamin C and garlic at the end of the meal (spaced as far away from chlorella and cilantro as possible). This strategy is easiest for most to comply with at breakfast, but not durin the day. This will clean the bowel effectively and bind the neurotoxins from the liver, the result of the cilantro dose. The reasons for spacing the chlorella and cilantro will be discussed later. Phase III, IV and V.

3. When chlorella is taken with meals, it is the easiest protocol to comply and will bind the neurotoxins in the bile effectively but the chlorella is diluted with the meal and less effective for maximum bowel detox. Therefore use this strategy later in the program, or when you need convenience. Also note that taking chlorella with meals may
be better tolerated for some who are having GI problems with chlorella.

4. Chlorella taken at bedtime is best for brain detox and should be used with cilantro as well as other products and modalities. Phase III, IV and V.
Chlorella can be hard to digest so it is advised that taking a cellulase digestive enzyme with each chlorella dose can result in better tolerance. Dose: Candisol – 1-2 caps
with chlorella. If there are other problems with chlorella, please consult the Appendix.
a) Other oral “chelators” can (and should) be used with chlorella during the mobilization phase; these will be recommended according to the Detox phase:

1. Phospholipid – Na EDTA (Phospho Lipid Exchange, DetoxMax);
2. Zeolite- Zeolite HP, Alli-Thiamin (nanonized zeolite); NCD, ACZ nano
3. Cilantro
4. OSR (Oxidative Stress Release)
5. Bowel binder: IMF, clay (red and green), charcoal, kelp (algenate)
6. Transdermal chelators: TD-DMPS, TD-glutathione, TD- DMSA
7. Rectal chelators: Detoxamine – EDTA in suppository, DMPS, DMSA
8. DMSA – oral chelating drug,
9. IM (Intra-muscular) glutathione
10. Others: Alpha Lipoic Acid, NAC

b) Mineralization, anti-oxidants, immune modulators, herbs and other detox support and modalities therapeutics are appropriate during the mobilization phase.

B. Chelation Phase: Suggestion – 1-3 days. The chelation phase of detoxification is often a period of days. The purpose is an aggressive removal of mercury and other
neurotoxins through multiple means from the body. High dosing of Chlorella or 2-3 times the mobilizing dose is used during the 2-3 days of the chelation cycle. Other oral
and/ or drug chelation remedies can and should be used at this time and can often be used in enhanced quantities. See the above list of oral chelators, which should also be used in increased dosage during the chelation phase.

Note: be sure that you are guided by a detox cognizant professional to initially help you with specific products and strategies for the most effective detox.

Dosing with Chlorella/Cilantro for Neurotoxin Elimination

Mobilization with Chlorella (or like remedies like Cilantro) prior to Chelation:

Suggestion 1-2 weeks. The purpose of the mobilization dose is “chelation-lite”: to detox the gut – remove the mercury from the Candida and other pathogens; start removing the gut biofilm; remove the mercury from the gastro intestinal lymphoid tissue (GALT); lower the neurotoxin (heavy metals, toxic chemicals, and neurotoxins from chronic infections) load of the body by binding these neurotoxins that are being eliminated in the bile thus preventing re-absorption. Some of the clathering agents in the chlorella (the part of the chlorella that binds the toxins) are absorbed through the bowel, enter the general circulation and the connective tissues where it binds (chelates) and then transports the heavy metals into the liver for excretion from the deeper stores to more accessible areas for detox. The mobilizing doses of chlorella usually vary between 3 and 8 grams per day during Phase I and II. During Phase III and IV the mobilizing dosages are often able to be increased to 4-8 grams a couple times a day. The timing and dosages also vary according to the purpose and stage of detox. Remember the most important part is to take the daily dose not timing the dosage to the exact right time. Please don’t drive yourself crazy with detox schedules. Remember detox is for the long haul.

1. Take all at once away from food: this dose concentrates the most chlorella in the bowel at one time and is generally used in the beginning of detox, for maximum bowel detox. Don’t use this strategy during aggressive systemic detox because it won’t bind the neurotoxins that are being removed through the liver. Usually phase I
and II.

Detox strategies: Overview of the Cycles, Products and Techniques

The following is an overview of the detox process and some of the principles, products and techniques that are employed by detox- cognizant health care professionals and patients.

One of the principle states: Detox in cycles (vs. continuously) with time on and time off- time to re-establish equilibrium, to dissolve and dilute the toxins, remineralize and allow the toxins to passively diffuse, and not overload your detox capacity (energy). Note that nature never does things continuously but it conserves energy by functioning in natural rhythms or cycles. Most, in the beginning of their detox programs, find a monthly detox cycle to be easiest. The cycles are explained below:

• Mobilization Cycle – 1-2weeks

• Chelation Cycle – 2-3 days

• Post chelation Cycle – 3-5 days

• Rest – no active chelation – 1 week

Another detox principle states: Neurotoxins are compartmentalized and no one detox agent can be used for everything. Detox from the outside to the inside keeping the bodily barriers intact. When the outside tissues have been detoxed, then proceed to the more inner tissues and bodily compartments. Therefore detox sequentially in phases over time to protect the integrity of the biological barriers (cells and brain) during detox, so detox out not deeper to avoid making things worse. Neurotoxins are contained in bodily compartments, contained by biological barriers, accumulation of mercury and other neurotoxins in various tissues. These compartments create different biological consequences.

1. Extra cellular or connective tissues including the GI system, respiratory system, and vascular tree; these are the tissues that produce signs and symptoms; HM (heavy metals) can be fibroses or walled off with minerals (plaques).

2. Cellular membrane (cell performance)

3. Intracellular (cell degeneration)

4. Nucleus (chromosomes) (cancer).

Choose the appropriate detox agent for the compartment to be detoxed.

The phases are:

Phase I- gross deposits: dental amalgam removal; start bowel binding, organ drainage and support therapy for the liver, kidneys and lymphs;

Phase II- extra cellular (more assessable): detox the extra cellular spaces – the bowel, connective tissues (matrix), blood vessels and drainage organs;

Phase III- extra cellular (less assessable): detox extra cellular spaces that are fibrosed, contain plaques and are inaccessible due to hypercoagulation;

start brain detox and cellular membrane detox.

Phase IV- cell membranes and intracellular: detox the whole body

Phase V- maintenance
